Birth Doula Support Package $890, Priscilla works out of Eltham, Victoria, which is in the North Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne.  There is a $50 discount for people who live in the immediate area (or within 20 km) 

Includes the following:

3-4 Prenatal Birth Preparation Sessions

Prenatal sessions are hands on, and it is recommended that partners be involved as well. The rapport that develops during the sessions between the pregnant woman, the doula and the partner is part of a successful outcome. Priscilla does not do :”birth only” packages.

The sessions are unstructured and include information on:

  • the role of your brain chemicals in natural childbirth
  • coping techniques for labouring without medication, as well as the pros and cons of various medical pain relief
  • labouring and birthing positions
  • exercises to practice in between sessions to prepare your body and mind
  • how to get a good start bonding and breastfeeding
  • ways to avoid or deal with post-partum depression
  • writing your birth plan

-24/7 phone(talk/SMS) and email support

  • Information sent to you via email on pregnancy, childbirth, parenting and breastfeeding as a complement to the prenatal sessions.

-On-call service and support for labour, birth and afterward, both at home and hospital, for as long as needed


-2 postnatal visits during the first weeks after birth (birth debriefing, breastfeeding and postpartum counselling and other services listed below)

*$990 for special circumstances which need 6 or more prenatal sessions

Postpartum Support Services

There are four main categories of post-natal support available to be booked separately from the Birth Doula Support Service.  These  are:

  1. Breastfeeding and attachment/ bonding counselling sessions $60/2 hours
  2. After the Birth debriefing and counselling sessions $60/ 2 hours
  3. Postpartum home support with baby settling techniques, colic prevention and baby care/parenting counselling, infant massage instruction. $90/3 hours
  4. Massage for mum, which can be complemented with aromatherapy if you so desire.$30/ 30 minutes
